BMW 530d Engine Bay Cleaning after 200k

This BMW 530d e39 was booked in for the engine bay to be cleaned up due to being mechanically sound with nearly 200k miles on the clock but in need of a good clean to bring out the best.

The whole engine bay compartment, including the underside of the bonnet, was cleaned using degreaser and various brushes to reach all tricky areas.

The dirty solution was then rinsed with low pressure water to reveal areas needed further attention.

This was repeated several times until all areas were gleaming.

The whole compartment was then dressed in Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber protectant before buffed off to a sation sheen, looking like new.
