Car Odour Removal

We offer a permanent solution to vehicle odours caused by smoke, dog, food & many other common problems. As every type of odour is caused from different sources from airborne to solids, we utilise a variety of car smell removal techniques including Aromatek to ensure the smell is not only removed but also doesn’t return.

Odour Removal

The most important issue to removing unwanted odours from your vehicle is to remove the source causing the odour. This can vary on type of smell as some will be solids, some liquids and some airbourne (such as smoke) which will be everywhere, including places you can’t see.

If the source of the odour is from a solid form, such as vomit, spilt milk, food products then the affected area is treated using powerful extraction machines which will wash the carpet, seat or mat and remove the unwanted by-product. If your car is smelling of smoke, you may think that there are no ‘solids’ to remove but there can often be ash left in hard to reach areas and tobacco residue on the pillars and head-lining is very common.

Odour Neutralisation

Once the solids & residues have been removed we use various techniques to treat the affected area. If the odour has been caused by a spillage then we use active biological enzymes which ‘starve’ any remaining bacteria left and therefore kill the odour ensuring it won’t return & won’t be masked by over-powering air fresheners.

If the smell has been caused by smoke or the interior has a stale smell then we use the latest odour removal technology, Autosmart’s Aromatek, which uses over 32 natural essential oils, designed to chemically neutralise and permanently eliminate odours in the entire interior cabin including places even we can’t see such as in the air vents, underneath car seats, deep into porous surfaces & everywhere that smoke can go.

Unlike conventional air-fresheners & other ‘fogging’ machines, the system uses dry-vapour to every surface in the vehicle & deep inside porous surfaces such as fabric, carpets & seats to ensure the source of odour is completely removed without harming any delicate surface.

Re-Odourise

Once the odour has been removed & neutralised the vehicle would be left with a refreshed scent and be a pleasurable environment once again. The treatment can be completed at this stage but we can take things one step further to re-odourise the interior by adding a final treatment with a selection of fragrance cartridges (lemon, leather, orchard & vanilla) which offer a longer lasting solution than conventional air fresheners.

Unlike conventional air-fresheners the dry vapour produced by the fragrance cartridges used in the Aromatek system penetrate deep into the porous surfaces inside the vehicle and offer long lasting fragrance to further enhance our odour removal services.
